 On October 31, 2016, the facility changed ownership and was purchased by Heather LaCotta. Heather has renamed the business Serenity Point Living.

Heather is no stranger to Broadwater County or to being a caregiver. As a nurse, Heather spent the past twelve years in Billings in the healthcare industry, primarily in long-term. Prior to that, she lived in Winston and worked in home health care.

It has been Heather's dream to own and operate an assisted living facility. After working in larger facilities, she has been eager to get back to a smaller scale where she can get to know her clients on a more personal level. So when she learned that Townsend Personal Care was for sale, she jumped at the opportunity to fulfill her dream.

Heather and team have done a lot of renovating to improve and update the facility. They made some major changes including a new roof, windows, and numerous upgrades on the interior, with plans to continue with interior and exterior improvements.

Heather has a passion for helping others and has a special gift in working with the elderly and disabled. It is her desire to create a peaceful and warm environment that is enveloped in love so that the residents feel like they are at home. She wants Serenity Point Living to be a comfortable place in Broadwater County, where family and friends can stop by, find a cup of coffee, and a great story, even if you've already heard it twenty times.

Heather is accepting new residents and is eager to improve the lives of those she serves.
